A notable feature on this project is that I built a form that helps you find your dream ranch. I had to develop a sophisticated scoring matrix to match users to the best ranch for them based on their responses to 7 different questions. After factoring in all the anticipated responses to these questions, there were 4,320 possible answer combinations to match to our 17 different ranch partners. After assigning each question a column in a 7-digit sequence and each answer a number that would appear as a number in that sequence, I was able to create a score for every possible combination. I could then pass those form values as a query string parameter as the form is submitted and redirects to a new page. On the redirect page, I would build all the algorithm logic into the PHP template and query the “Perfect Ranch” for the user based on the score they were assigned.
